Sydenham station is very close to the airport. Trains run every half an hour during the day to and from the central train station in Belfast. From Belfast Central there are regular links to Londonderry and Dublin.

The Citybus number 21 runs every 20 minutes from Sydenham, which is a 5 minute walk from the airport, to City Hall Monday-Saturday. On Sunday Citybus numbers 101 and 102 run to the airport from the Belfast City centre.
